◆展覧会について

本展では4月より姫路市花田町高木地区で滞在制作を開始した２人のアーティスト、陶芸家の福岡佑梨と、アーティストのガランス・フリュー(Garance Fruh)の作品を展示します。

滞在期間に制作された作品は、初めて踏み入れた土地での暮らしや地域工場での見学、そして新たな技術習得から得た刺激をもとに、彼女たちがこれまで培ってきた表現と結びつき、これまでにない創作へと結実しました。
生まれたばかりの作品群が放つ空気を、ぜひ会場で体感していただければ幸いです。

◆About the Exhibition

This exhibition will showcase the works of two artists who began their residency in the Takagi district of Hanada-cho, Himeji City in April: ceramic artist Yuri Fukuoka and artist Garance Fruh.

The works created during their stay were inspired by their experiences living in a new place, visiting local factories, and acquiring new skills. These experiences, combined with the expressions they had cultivated up to that point, resulted in unprecedented creations.
We hope you will experience the atmosphere emanating from these newly created works at the exhibition.
